Our approach
How our reviews work
How customer experiences are submitted, displayed and counted on The Review Journal.
Who operates this website?
The Review Journal is independently operated and is not affiliated with, owned by, sponsored by or endorsed by Wolf And Coat. The retailer is the subject of the reviews. Store customer service and store policies are separate from this review website.
Writing a useful customer review
Review your own experience. Describe what you ordered, when the experience happened, and which details mattered. Practical comments about fit, sizing, materials, construction, delivery and customer service help readers understand the context. All ratings from one to five stars are welcome.
Do not include contact information, payment details or full order references in the public review text. Use the optional private order-reference field for a purchase reference.
Submission and moderation
New submissions enter a pending state. The site operator reviews them before publication.
Reviews are not edited to improve their rating. Spam, abusive content, irrelevant submissions and exposed personal information may be removed. The preview has basic submission limits and input checks; it does not claim automatic AI fact-checking.
What a verified purchase means
A verified-purchase label is used only after a submission has been matched to evidence of a real Wolf And Coat order. Submitting an email address or an order number does not by itself prove a purchase. Reviews without that check are labelled purchase unverified.
How the overall rating is calculated
The overall score is the arithmetic mean of every published customer star rating: add the ratings and divide by the number of published reviews. Each published rating has equal weight. The displayed average is rounded to one decimal place. Samples, pending submissions and rejected submissions are excluded. With no published reviews, the page is shown as unrated.
Examples and private details
Optional sample-layout reviews are clearly labelled examples. They are not testimonials, do not affect the customer rating and are excluded from search metadata and the sitemap.
Public reviews show a display name, rating, review text and dates. Email addresses, order references, consent records and verification evidence are kept out of public listings and search markup. Read the review privacy notice for the information collected by this website.
